Wow!
What a Crazy Time This Has Been!
First, I need to say OnStage was amazing! Stampin' Up! honestly never disappoints me. OnStage was virtual this year (we were supposed to be in Salt Lake City) but because of Covid we had to do it virutally. It was still a great time!
They gave us the option to prepurchase some product from the new upcoming Jan-June mini catalog (seriously, doesn't it feel like we were just talking about this???). I did take them up on the option and got some items from the Dandy Garden Suite.
You can check out my YouTube video on the part of the Dandy Garden Suite here:
There is more to this suite, too and I can't wait to show it to you on Tuesday when I get my order! One of the biggest perks of being a demonstrator and attending OnStage is we get to purchase select items ahead of others (demonstrators who do not attend cannot pre-purchase). So, I took advantage of that and bought some new things which I love and I think you will too!
Another benefit of OnStage is we get to make items using new product from the upcoming catalog. Typically, we get a large selection of this year given that it was virtual, all of the cards we made were from the Dandy Garden Suite.
Here is what we made:
I love dragonflies!
The dragonfly is a punch and even though I love my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine and I love dies...I think punches are great!
Another big perk of OnStage is hanging out with your demonstrator friends. Now, we couldn't do that either but we did have a zoom on Thursday when we got our recognition. I am so grateful for my team, my customers and Stampin' Up! I had no idea when I started this venture I would be where I am in 2 years - on top of working a full time job. So, thank you to all of you for helping me get here!
I would love to have as a part of my team. We have monthly team meetings (over zoom) and do monthly make n takes. If you are local, I can drop off. If you are not local, I can mail. All members of my team get a free pdf every month of projects to make and I am always available to help them.
If you are interested in talking about the Stampin' Up! opportunity, you may send me a message through my Stampin' Up! site, Papercrafts with Meg. You may also join my team though the gadget on the side, or through this link, here.
Thank you so much everyone!
I hope you all have a blessed week and Happy Crafting!

Happy Halloween!
What a crazy year this has been. Did any of you think that when 2020 started we would be talking about not even having Halloween in some parts of the country?
Thankfully, my daughter is in school a couple days a week and the other days are done via zoom. She doesn't like it and can't wait to get back to full time. She also made the volleyball team this year. We were so excited. They've only had 1 game because her high school closed for 2 weeks due to some cases but they are now back! Yay!
This year I heard the words "I'm too old for trick or treating" and my heart broke. I didn't know it would bother me. Just one more step to growing up. Had I known last year would be her last I would have made her let me take a pic. She's at that age, ya know?
I know, for me, if I could go trick or treating I would. I have never been into Halloween decorations much; to me it's never felt like a holiday and I've never crafted much Halloween stuff...Paper Pumpkin has been it for me.
Until this year. You know what got me? The owls.
I absolutely love the Have a Hoot bundle. I love the owls and I love that we can make them scary or sweet. When I saw the Have a Hoot bundle and the rectangle treat boxes...I was convinced they would make great gift card holders for craft fairs....
The only issue...Covid!
Last weekend, I was actually fortunate enough to participate in a small, outdoor craft/vendor fair. I brought the owls and I sold every single one...I wish I had made more.
I wrapped them individually in the 3 x 8 cellophane bags from Stampin' Up and tied it with a bow.
The strips of Designer Series Paper are 2 1/2 x 8 and 1 1/2 x 8. Wrap them and adhere them in the back. Keep them loose enough so you can slide it off the tin - but tight enough so it doesn't fall off on their own.
Aren't they adorable?
If you would like to order the Have a Hoot Bundle - or anything below - you may check out the items on my Stampin' Up! store by clicking here.

Whale of a Time Zoom Class to Go and Our New "Normal"
I feel like I keep saying this...our new normal. I don't like it. I keep hoping it's only temporary. But, we make the best with what we have and right now that includes having card and scrapbook classes on zoom.
It's actually not as bad as it sounds. I come up with the class, prepare everything (if you've paid for the class) and then we meet on zoom. I also prepare a full color pdf tutorial with all the cutting instructions for you.
Yesterday, we did projects using the Whale of a Time suite. I love this suite. The papers are bright and cheery and go with so many of our inks and papers...there are a lot of possibilities for projects.
I decided to do 4 projects, a 3-D box and a 2 page scrapbook layout...and I used the Stitched Triangle dies. I also used the piece of seaweed from the Sailing Home dies...
The class prep was ALOT of work...but it was so worth it.
There are so many great pieces in this suite...the punch, the paper, the embossing folder (so much detail!).
I love that the sentiments in the stamp set lends itself to both cards and scrapbook layouts...not all stamp sets do but this one sure does!
Here are some of teases of the projects.
I love the punch. Using Wink of Stella on the belly gives a little bit of shine to the card.
I love the little heart.
It really is possible to create scrapbooking layouts using Stampin' Up! products. It's high quality product (best on the market in my opinion)
And, that little box is so adorable!
This little fish stamp is adorable. They even have eyes (see what I mean about all the detail). And, the embossing folder on the vellum (it's stunning!).
I would like to send a thank you to my friends Jean Addis and Lisa Flemming for the inspiration for some of these ideas.
If you would like to purchase the pdf of the class, it is $15 and you may send me a message via my email address which is located on my Stampin' Up! store. If you would like to get to my Stampin' Up! site you may click the link, Papercrafts with Meg. I will send you a pdf version of the class.
If you would like to purchase the bundle or the suite (the sequins are on back order as of this moment) you may do so through my store, Stampin' Up! store here.
