Merry Moose Bundle |
Today, I decided I would showcase the Merry Moose bundle to show you all how easy it is to get started with stamping. I made 4 cards in varying difficulty from beginner all the way up to the avid crafter.
You can purchase this bundle here in my Stampin' Up store
The first card I made was made for the beginner stamper. The 2 evergreen stamps were stamped on Whisper White Cardstock in Mint Macaron and then I stamped the star on a few of the trees using So Saffron that was it. I didn't even use the moose punch. Many beginners are leary of using additional products. Don't be. The first card would be perfect as a note card or a thank you card and it would be easy to make multiples of them at once. It would be perfect in a set of 10 for a craft fair! Add your envelopes, stamp a tree on the back of the envelopes, tie with a ribbon and voila! Instant success!
The 2nd card was done the same way as the first except this time I punched out the moose. I stamped him in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake and used dimensionals.
Here are the first 2 cards.
The next 2 cards had more steps and more product in them. These were geared toward the more experienced crafter and the avid crafter.
For both these cards, I used a Mint Macaron mat. The 3rd card has a blank mat; on the last card, I used the Birch background stamp (seriously, my favorite) and stamped it in Silvery Shimmer Delicata (another obsession) onto the Mint Macaron cardstock. The 3rd moose is simply punched and I used the soft suede and crumb cake again. The 4th moose...well, he looked a little chilly so I gave him a Merry Merlot hat and scarf - both fussy cut.
I used the Merriest of Holidays stamp as a sentiment on both cards. The classic label punch on the 3rd and the Stitched Nested Label Dies on the 4th. On the 4th card, I used the crystal effects and the ice stampin' glitter for some bling and I colored in the raccoon using the Stampin' Blends.
